How To Build An Email List
So how do you build a responsive email list fast?
That is what I am going to reveal to you today.
In this post you are going to get the recipe for rapid list building (especially with my secret traffic source that I will reveal at the end of the post)
I am also going to give you all the ingredients you need to know how to build an email list fast.
Here is what you’ll need…
- A website that can collect emails also known as a lead capture or squeeze page.
- An email management software or better known as an Autoresponder
- Something to offer people in exchange for them giving you their email address.
- Traffic, you need to get your lead capture page and offer in front of potential prospects.
- Follow up with emails on a regular basis building good will and trust with your subscribers.
- Use the money you generated to buy yourself something special.
Now for the recipe and how to put it all together for rapid listing building, push button profits.
In the past (just a couple years ago) if you wanted a lead capture page you either had to build it yourself using html or some other complicated website building software or hire a professional web designer.
Now days there are plenty of great programs that make high converting, professionally designed lead capture pages, in just minutes even if you’re a complete newbie.

Once you have your lead capture page set up using LandingPageMoney it is now time to set up your Autoresponder and connect it to your lead capture page.
An Autoresponder is a must have tool for any online business, they allow you to collect and manage the email addresses you collect and sends automated follow up messages and broadcast messages to your list.
The Autoresponder I use and recommended is Aweber.com.
Aweber is one of the most popular email marketing programs on the market. Their platform is very easy to use; they have fantastic customer service and a reliable service.
Next step is to have something of value to offer in exchange for people handing over their valid email address.
There are a couple of options here.
- You can simple offer something in the sales video/letter you are promoting. For example let’s say you are promoting a product that helps with anxiety attacks and in the sales video they teach a simple technique to help ease anxiety in social situations. Then you could offer that in your lead capture page and send the subscriber directly to the sales page of the affiliate offer you’re promoting.
- The other option is to create a free report, video, audio, software, etc that you can give away. This is a great option because you are giving people a solution or something of value, something they can actually use or benefit from without asking for any money.
If you don’t have something to promote here are some places you are find offers to promote as an affiliate.
The second approach is my preferred method as it creates (what Frank Kern calls) good will and trust with your subscriber, something the majority of other marketers don’t do.
Here is the secret to selling anything, weather it is online or offline and it doesn’t matter if you are selling a house or your opinion on what restaurant you want to eat at.
People only buy from other people (or brands) they Know, Like and Trust.
You may have heard the saying…
“People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care”
By providing solutions to your subscriber BEFORE asking them to buy something from you creates a credibility and trust.
Lowering the barriers of resistance so they will be more willing to open and read your email because you are not always trying to push them some product to buy.
And when you do have something to offer them, as I mentioned you will have more people open and read your offer and higher amount of people buying something.
There is a saying in internet marketing that the money is not in the size of the list, it is in the relationship with the list.
In other words how responsive your list is to opening emails, clicking links and ultimately buying your offers.
This is all determined by how much your subscribers Know, Like & Trust you. (or your brand)
But what if you don’t have something to offer…
How To Create A Freebie Giveaway Offer
If you don’t have the patience or the skills to write a free report you can always use a PLR or Private Label Rights report to give away as a freebie in order to build your list.

You could also find an expert in the your niche and ask if they would do an interview and if they are comfortable for you to promote and give the interview away, this way they are getting free promotion too.
